Sarteano is part of the province of Siena. Characterized by its importance to historical levels and natural, it puts on a plateau between the Val d'Orcia and the Valdichiana. This territory inhabited for thousands of years is very rich archaeological point of view. In places you can find some of the most important Etruscan tombs in Tuscany. A good part of findings made in the area is the collection of Etruscan Museum of Sarteano.
